I Have No Man

We think we have power but whatever control we seem to have in our lives is temporary or an illusion. When it comes to our salvation, many object to the idea that we are powerless to save ourselves. The popular opinion that man must choose God first actually makes God powerless to save us unless we allow Him to. The lesson we find at the Pool of Bethesda shows us that to be powerless and admit we "have no man" to help us or any way to help ourselves is actually a blessing. Christ is the omnipotent Savior and reaches down for us when we cannot help ourselves! -- February 26, 2015
