We have had a very busy but abundantly blessed Summer this year.

I have had the joy traveling with my family to nine different states as venturing out on fun and educational vacation stops. We were also blessed to teach singing schools in three different states and preach in 6!

One of the most joyful experiences we had was singing in the old chapel of Cade's Cove Primitive Baptist Church in the Smoky Mountains. I had never been there but it was a true joy to sing old Appalachian tunes in a building designed for a cappella songs like those.

We are road weary but feel blessed to have had so many wonderful experiences with the Lord and His people this Summer.

I hope to pick up where I left off on my devotional blogs and produce them regularly for you again. The audio posts of my sermons in "Triumphal Feast" should restart soon as well.

I apologize for not letting you know before we left on these trips. I was hoping to have time to write while we traveled but we had very little, if any, Internet access in many of the places we visited.
